From November 24 to November 28, 2020, the online Winter School of Research Commercialization was successfully held. The Winter School was organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry and the Centre for Research, Development and Technology Transfer at the University of Zagreb.
The Winter School was intended for students, young professionals and researchers across Europe. During the panel, various topics related to the development of biotechnology and medicine were discussed.
Some of the main topics of the panel were opportunities for career development, innovation encouragement and intellectual property management. The goal of the Winter School was to introduce young scientists and students with the possibility of future employment and development of their skills and innovative ideas.
Among the lecturers of the Winter School was the director of BICRO BIOCentre d.o.o., Marija Lovrić, PhD, who introduced students and future scientists to the concept of BIOCentre – an incubator for biotech start-up companies and the opportunities they can get with the help of our institution.
