BIOCentre’s Central Laboratory offers beer analysis services tailored to craft breweries and home brewers who want to control the quality of their products.
All analyses are performed according to EBC (European Brewery Convention) methods.*
Services:
- PHYSICO-CHEMICAL ANALYSIS, which includes: determination of pH, alcohol content (ABV), determination of bitterness (BU) and determination of colour (EBC)
- MICROBIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS, which includes: testing for the presence of the most common bacterial contaminants in beer (Genus ID) and identification of individual bacterial contaminants in beer (Species ID)
- GLUTEN testing for the presence of gluten in beer
*The laboratory does not issue certificates of analysis.
