Symposium “From research to commercialization” was held on March 8th, 2018, in the premises of Forum Zagreb, with lectures held by world-renowned Croatian scientists.

The symposium was opened by Dubravko Kičić, Ph.D., CEO of BIOCentre, highlighting that this meeting is just one of the first in a series of major events aimed at achieving the goals of BIOCentre, which include, among other things, joining of all stakeholders in the biosciences and contribution to building an entrepreneurial ecosystem in this area through exchange of good practices and opportunities for networking. More than 200 visitors, mostly members of the scientific, academic and business community, attended the conference, along with special guests: academician Zvonko Kusić, president of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Ambassador of Canada Daniel Maksymiuk, and State Secretary for Science Tome Antičić, Ph.D.

The symposium was organized in partnership with BIOCentre – Incubation Center for Biosciences, MedILS, Genos, Genera Research and Science Center of Excellence for Reproductive and Regenerative Medicine.
